OK folks, as you can see Lynnda is a busy lady, there is more to come here, please be patient.
Lynnda spent 20 years teaching in just two 11 to 16 school. Firstly for Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council and she then moved to the then Humberside authority when she moved to Hull to marry Martin.
Lynnda's many interests saw her teaching a wide range of subjects over those 20 years focusing Mainly on Chemistry, Mathematics and General Science. She also taught the following classes: Biology, Introduction to Computers, Community Service, Outdoor Pursuits, Games, and IT.
As a Head of Year she was also responsible for leading a team of staff and arranging the Personal and Social Education curriculum for her year group.
Shortly after moving to Hull, Martin launched his own business and Lynnda has been actively involved in this venture from the very start.
In 2001 Lynnda spearheaded to launch of the retail side of the business. In 2008 she left to create Oak House Studio although she is still involved in the original company.
Like many people Lynnda's interests have grown over the years but her passions are still the same as they were when she was a teenager in Nottingham. Her many loves include dance, volleyball, caravaning and the countryside.
"I remember watching my first volleyball match in Sweden in 1968, it was few years before I began playing myself on caravan rallies and eventually joined a club playing in the East Midlands league from Sutton In Ashfield" . Lynnda's involvement in Volleyball has taken a back seat this season. In 2010 she was chairman of Hull and East Yorkshire Volleyball Association and Vice Chairman of Yorkshire.
Having taught in secondary schools for 20 years Lynnda's pleasure in working with young people remains strong.
